Knitting Needles and Fun Fest

Well today we went to the Family Funfest at Aubrey and Allie's school. It was very fun although very full with kids :) Ty was completly overwhelmed with all the people, but once daddy went down the slide then he loved it. Jack's goal was to get the most points to pick out a big prize. Jack even climbed the large rock wall. Ryan enjoyed the speed pitch and the putt putt golf. After dinner out with Grammy, Ty went to spend the night with Grammy at the hotel.

The rest of us headed back to the Well's house. Aubrey picked out a knitting set with her tokens at the funfest. So Aubrey and I learned how to knit. It was very exciting and since I have no girls to do these kinds of things with. It was very fun. She picked it up very quickly and is on her way to making a purple scarf. Hopefully I will learn how to insert a picture soon so you can see us knitting.

Cookies & Milk from 1st Class

Well we have arrived in sunny California. Our flight yesterday went well. We were fortunate enough to have the bulkhead seats on our second flight. The boys were charming to the stewardess and even got cookies from 1st class. Then later on Ryan commented to the stewardess how great the cookies were and she quickly came back with more cookies and even milk. They thought they were royalty!

We then proceded onward to the Wells where we are now. They are dear friends that allow us to invade their space every year. They kids all get a long great and it is as if we never left. We are very thankful.

This weekend we will rest with Grammy before all the craziness gets underway when our players and staff arrive.
