Sick within 24 hours

Well unfortunately we have beaten our record and have two sick children within the first 24 hours of being here. Ty had a fever on Saturday although he is now his spunky self. But Jackson on the other hand had a fever yesterday of 101 and today it is 102. And he generally feels miserable. Pray that our kids would get better and that no one else including the Wells who we are staying with will get it. Pray also for Chris and I will have wisdom whether to take them in to the doctor or wait it out. We have a lot on our schedule and pray that this will be short lived.

Leaving Tomorrow

Well tomorrow we will head out onto a plane for California and start our summer adventure. Jack and Ty are excited although sad about leaving friends at home. So today we are busy packing, cleaning and saying good bye. We heard from Ryan this morning from Cambodia. We will see him a week from today in Southern California. He is having a great time with the cousins although he seems a bit homesick. He said he was trying not to show it too much though. He is having fun though and excited to head to the beach this weekend. Thanks for praying for our flight tomorrow and for Ryan in his final week in Cambodia.

Packing Again

Well it is May 22 and we are packing again for another summer. Ryan is currently in Cambodia with Grammy visiting Auntie Jodi, Uncle Daren and the cousins. It seems like he is having a great time with everyone exploring the country and culture of Cambodia. We look forward to hearing all about it. We are packing up because we leave a week from today to head out to Morgan Hill, Ca. Ty asked me this morning if he could help pack since he thought that was way too much work for me alone....hopefully it won't be way too much work with his "help". Anyway we just wanted to get the blog up and running and look forward to sharing about our summer from our family perspective! Have a great Memorial Day Weekend!
