Today we had a double header scheduled, but partway into the first game it started to rain. Unfortunately the other team didn't want to get the field ready so they canceled the games. So during the rain delay Ty decided to slide into home plate to the cheering on of both teams. He was freezing cold afterward and had to put on daddy's sweatshirt and shorts, which was quite a sight. He was a little bummed the player who said he would do it too, didn't. I asked him if it was worth it and at first he said no, but later when a player gave him ice cream he said it was worth it. Anyway it was a bummer the game was cancelled the weather is now beautiful and we were ahead in the game.
You can't really see fireworks in Alaska, in the summer since it doesn't get dark. But we hope you all had a great 4th of July!
